My nuclear stress test for my heart is complete. I have now had breakfast. I had nothing by mouth after 7:00PM and no coffee for 24 hours before the test. Boo
My family doctor, Matthew Finneran MD, said he could only say for certain that my heart was alright for my two month, 3000 mile trike ride after a thorough heart examination. I will not get his personal evaluation of the test until Tuesday. I have the administering doctor's observation now.
The adminstering doctor said my heart is peculiar. He said something about conductivity which I didn't follow. He explained by saying that my heart was different as would a person would be different with one blue eye and one brown eye. That would be peculiar. It would be neither good nor bad, just different. A person can see quite well with two different colored eyes even though they are different than normal. He said my heart works a bit different than normal but it works just fine. He said it had probably been that way for my entire life.
The summary? I am quite sure I'll get a complete bill of health for my trip. Hoo-ray!
