PERCEPTION: Glass half full, glass half empty--you decide!

A faithful reader mailed to me a story that makes the point for "perception".

After writing so much on Dust, Drought, Degradation and Desperation of Difficult Times, a "CHUCKLE" seems in order.
A Minister decided that a visual demostration
would add emphasis to his Sunday sermon

Four worms were placed into four separate jars

The first worm was put into a container of alcohol

The second worm was put into a container of smoke.

The third worm was put into a container of chocolate syrup.

The fourth worm was placed into a container of good clean soil

At the conclusion of the sermon, the minister reported the following results:

The first worm in the alcohol is DEAD!
The second worm in cigarette smoke is DEAD!
The third worm in chocolate syrup is DEAD!
The fourth worm in good clean soil is ALIVE!

So the Minister asked the congregation, What did you learn from this demostration?

Maxine quickly raised her hand and said,

' As long as you drink, smoke and eat chocolate, you won't have worms!'

PERCEPTION?

God Bless!
