Today started out right following a good night's sleep. Fixed a good breakfast and decided to take it a bit easier today, following yesterday's excitement with the visit of Julie and Donna. It was a lovely morning, the high winds had passed, and it didn't get down to the predicted low. But, I decided I'd read my Kindle and laze around until mid-afternoon.
YOU CAN BEHAVE LIKE THAT WHEN YOU ARE 20 YEARS INTO RETIREMENT. Yeah!

Following my Mother's teachings, I immediately asked if he would like a piece of Julie's bumble berry pie and a cup of coffee. His answer led me to believe he might be hungry, turned out he was. Seldom am I better prepared to serve a quick lunch. A quick salad, a micro wave baked potatoe and warmed up left overs from Julie's beef roast made for a great, filling lunch.
Mark checked out and was excited about my internet hookups, saying it was top-of-the-line all the way. He was amazed that we also had a television hook up in the master bedroom. Uh, Julie and I go to sleep listening to Everybody Loves Raymond. The television is large and the bedroom is small, but we fit it in.
The one thing we did not have, and needed for my Kindle problem, was a WiFi connection. There is a marina across the street from our lakeside retreat but no available WiFi to pirate. WHATA SON! We drove to Best Stores where he researched the available WiFi Routers and, after consultation with his techy son, Jonathan, decided to go with the most expensive model, for which he insisted upon paying..
