NEW RECORDS ESTABLISHED: Sound The Trumpets!

This is my 33RD blog for the month, exceeding my previously monthly high of 21 blogs in March, 2010.  A NEW RECORD!  This is also the 116th blog for the year, exceeding the 112 blogs written in 2009.  ANOTHER NEW RECORD!

Is this a record breaking blog or what?

Of course, it is only the end of September, 9 months.  If I continue writing at the same rate I should end the year with over 150 blogs.  I have enjoyed such a great life for such a very long time!  I want to explain how, share opinions based on in depth experience, and lighten the attitudes with a funny or two.

I undertook a major writing obligation for this year.  I was into a real routine of writing four or more hours daily, starting right after breakfast.  I have been plagued with computer problems on my work computer, currently from a lightening strike, no less.  I have tried to keep the routine going by writing blogs on my available computer.

Tomorrow my wife, Julie, and I depart for a two day journey to our beach side condo for a three week party with family and friends.  We've been enjoying life in this setting for the last 22 years.  When Julie retires year after next, we will probably live here in the winter time.

Mark, my eldest son and blog mentor, suggested I bring my computer to the beach saying I should avoid putting my readers into withdrawal.  He is a good son, but he has forgot how we jam every thing, including the country sink, into our car.  There is hardly room for Julie and I to sit.

A SPACIOUS PENTHOUSE SUITE, THERE IS A GREAT KITCHEN
An important part of the good life is eating.  As important as eating, to Julie and I, is getting to cook for loved ones.  In addition to a month's supply of food, mostly from our own shelves, we take our own cookware.  In addition to waffle irons, drink blenders and  my large, electric griddle, I take my iron skillets, including my very large, fish frying skillet.  NO ROOM FOR COMPUTERS, NO WAY!

While I do not have a laptop computer, one or more of my guests each week will have theirs.  I wrote my first blog on Mark's computer.  I'll do my best to share the fun and games with you as often as possible.

Over the years, we have stayed for the entire month.  This year, due to Julie taking family leave when I had my surgery, she cannot take off an entire month.  I'll be home blogging again in three weeks.  Til then, keep checking.  I'll write when I can.

I appreciate each of my readers.

God Bless you and yours.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
