EVERY SOCIETY GETS THE KIND OF CRIMINAL IT DESERVES.
WHAT IS EQUALLY TRUE IS THAT EVERY COMMUNITY GETS THE KIND
OF LAW ENFORCEMENT IT INSISTS ON - Robert Kennedy

FREEDOM PROSPERS WHEN RELIGION IS VIBRANT AND THE RULE
OF LAW UNDER GOD IS ACKNOWLEDGED - Ronald Reagan

I cannot be optimistic that the problem effecting the innocent by those who make bad choices will be resolved in my lifetime.  The solution calls for wisdom and courage to make those who knowingly refuse to make good choices personally pay for their action.  As it is now, the careless make the mistakes and the careful must pay the penalty.

THE LAW IS REASON, FREE FROM PASSION - Aristotle

Julie and I attended the 175th Octoberfest in Munich, Germany, the "die Wiesn".  A beer festival, it is the world's biggest fair with millions guzzling beer in several large tents.

The next day, touring the Austrian Alps in an auto driven by a lovely young guide, I asked how many were arrested for driving under-the-influence.  She assured me none!

THE SAFETY OF THE PEOPLE SHALL BE THE HIGHEST LAW
Marcus Tullius Cicero

DEUTSCHE AUTOBAHNEN
A person driving under the influence in Germany undergoes a blood test to determine his level of intoxication.  The police then take him to the police station for processing.
The police confiscate his driver's license and drive him home.  His car is sold and the proceeds go to a "victims" fund. THAT'S JUST THE START OF HIS PROBLEMS.

OBEDIENCE TO THE LAW IS DEMANDED; NOT ASKED AS A FAVOR
Theodore Roosevelt

At a personal cost of about 15,000 Euros, the offender must undergo extensive physical and psychological testing to determine if the person will be able to control their drinking in the future.  If the offender fails the tests, 70% do, they must wait four months and repeat the costs and exams.  ON A SECOND OFFENSE, THEY GO TO PRISON FOR A VERY LONG TIME, no exceptions.

LAW WITHOUT FORCE IS IMPOTENT - Blaisie Pascal

Germans have a higher standard of living than many Americans with twice the income.  Their secret is little debt, frugal habits and a government that is focused on higher production, lower inflation and effective social services.

Germany, with its manufacturing base and expert prowess, is the America of yesteryear.  The world's fourth largest economy, it thrives on principles America seems to have lost.

SELF-PRESERVATION IS THE FIRST LAW OF NATURE - Samuel Butler

Banning large sodas because others will have to pay for the resulting bad health is not the answer.

When this man cannot do his job, he should be fired, no unemployment payment.

He should have to pay double or triple the insurance costs, or go without insurance.

YES, HE WILL DIE.  HIS CHOICE.  HIS PROBLEM.
Allow a one year moratorium on the law, provide free counseling

I AM VERY PRO LAW ENFORCEMENT - Robert Stack

Ben Franklin observed that "When people can vote themselves money, that is the end of the Republic".  When the GOP Presidential candidate observed that the 47% who were receiving government dole or the 50% who did not pay taxes, would not vote for him, he was correct. He lost the election!

Until America elects a leader who will lead and govern, not just work for reelection, govern to correct the problems, not to appease the voters, America will not regain her glory.

NO AMOUNT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT CAN SOLVE A PROBLEM
THAT GOES BACK TO FAMILY - J. Edgar Hoover

Thankfully, spring is on it's way to Lake Anna, near my home in  Barberton, Ohio.  Julie and I saw many robins today traveling to a St. Paddy's dinner with my daughter Kimberly with Riley and Rosebud. Life is Good! I pray God will work his miracle for the USA.

GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR'S

GOD BLESS THE USA
