MY DAY IS COMING!
YESTERDAY I GOT MY FIRST CARD
Happy Birthday, Dad!
A BIRTHDAY IS JUST THE FIRST DAY OF ANOTHER 365 DAYS AROUND THE SUN.
This card from my youngest son, Todd, and his lovely wife, Amy, is my first of the year. Over the years, my first card normally was from my brother Henry, who passed away in 2005--I miss more than his card.
My second card was always from a dear friend of many years standing, Barb Musgrave. It hasn't come yet.
This picture of two fishermen, and a chunk bit out of the dock where the third fisherman had been fishing, asks:
"You didn't notice what that guy was using for bait, did you"?
Sounds like the right question for Todd or I who would expect to pull in that whopper. If we didn't catch the whopper, we'd tell a whopper about it. Un Huh! We'll never let the truth get in the way of a good story, huh, Todd?
BIRTHDAYS ARE GOOD FOR YOU! STATISTICS SHOW THAT THE PEOPLE
WHO HAVE THE MOST LIVE THE LONGEST - Larry Lorenzoni
I ride a recumbent trike which Todd maintains for me. I hope to ride it down in his neck-of-the-woods this year on the Little Miami River Scenic Bike Trail, which is nearby Todd and Amy's home.
Always thinking of their Dad's welfare, knowing that I am getting a bit "Long in the Tooth", they discovered this new version of a recumbent trike.
It was my birthday card last year. I've seen the time when I could have used this contraption. Yeah!
Todd and Amy ride their recumbent bikes thousands of miles each year. They have rode from the Ohio River to Lake Erie, across the state of Ohio.
They ride year around.
JUST REMEMBER, WHEN YOU ARE OVER THE HILL YOU PICK UP SPEED
My treasure in life is neither in the bank nor under my mattress. My three children are my greatest joy and treasure. Shown here on my 80th birthday is Todd, Walt, Amy and my daughter Kimberly. Kimberly is taking me to dinner on my birthday, Easter Sunday, and I know that, without fail, I'll hear from Mark and Mary Kay.
