APRIL IS A PROMISE THAT MAY IS BOUND TO KEEP - Hal Borland
Cabin Fever is an idiomatic term, first recorded in 1918, for a claustrophobic reaction that takes place when a person is isolated in a small space, with nothing to do. Cabin fever describes the extreme irritability and restlessness a person may feel in those situations.
CABIN FEVER CAN STAND FOR SEASONAL AFFECTIVE DISORDER, SAD!

SPRING IS NATURE'S WAY OF SAYING "LETS PARTY" - Robin Williams
For a change, I have mowed the yard before it got as high as an elephant's eye. I also removed the vines off six trellis and pruned seven of the ten fruit trees. And, then the rains came down, and came down and came down. The prediction was for the rain to continue to come down for the next three days. My TV, computer and wii has not been turned on at the lake yet. I had read my last kindle book and couldn't get another without the wii. I couldn't sleep anymore. I came home.
"In that little log cabin, by the river of memories, where the sun shine is cheery and nothing in the world is weary, by that little log cabin by the river of memories." My dear friend, Iolene, used to pick her old flat top guitar and sing that song for me. If I could go back, I'd like to visit this little log cabin and the lady setting on the door step, at Knott's Berry Farm in 1963. My mother, Levia Pierce, at age 64.
NO MATTER HOW LONG THE WINTER, SPRING IS SURE TO FOLLOW - Proverb

IN THE SPRING, AT THE END OF THE DAY, YOU SHOULD SMELL LIKE DIRT
Margaret Atwood
The only place I've really felt at home,
is my cabin up north.
There is something about the water there
that connects me to that place.
There's also this sense of isolation and loneliness about it
that I've never been able to shake!

APRIL PREPARES HER GREEN TRAFFIC LIGHT AND THE WORLD THINKS GO!
Christopher Morley
When my 1992 Chevy van pulled into the driveway, my wife met me at the door grinning. She said "I just told Gunner, our dog, that Walt will be home tonight". When I asked why she thought that, she said, "Its raining and you didn't call". She just knows me too well. After 34 years, what can I expect, huh? I love my van, by-the-way. A fiberglass body, it will never rust.
IF YOU WANT TO GET ALONG, GO ALONG - Samuel Rayburn
Between the showers, today, it is a lovely but cool day. A good day for a trike ride, my first in three years. I do look forward to it as the beginning of a summer full of longer rides. I have discovered that my trike came back from the California bike shop minus the computer, head light, locking cable and tool kit. Oh, well! That's life. I didn't mind losing the computer. It was so small I couldn't read it. I now have a different model which I need installed.
