THE SIMPLEST ACTS OF KINDNESS ARE BY FAR MORE POWERFUL THAN A THOUSAND HEADS BOWING IN PRAYER - Mahatma Ghandhi

HOW FAR THAT LITTLE CANDLE THROWS HIS BEAM!  SO SHINES A GOOD DEED IN A WEARY WORLD - William Shakespeare

UNKNOWN SURPRISED WOMAN
Yes, I am old!  Yes, I have been throughout the world many times!  Yes, I have been "there" and "done that"!  Still and yet, I can be surprised.  I awakened from a nap, went to the bathroom, where the door was closed, but, as my wife and I share our only bathroom, I just opened the door and walked in.  There stood a woman I had never seen, just out of a shower with a towel wrapped around her naked body.  SURPRISE!

NO ACT OF KINDNESS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL, IS EVER WASTED - Aseop

JULIE ANN PIERCE
I call my wife "Jewell" because she is just that.  Benevolent to a fault, she truly is precious, and not just to me.  Julie benefits everyone.  Time after time, in our 36 years of marriage, she has spend time and money to help those who could never repay her.  A while back she told me of  a friend, who had quit her job, moved south to live with a daughter, was back from a bad experience, broke, with no where to live until she worked for a few weeks to earn rent money.  Julie asked if the friend  could live with us for three weeks.  Of course, I agreed and promptly forgot about it until I saw the nude in our bathroom.

A PERSON DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AN ANGEL TO BE A SAINT - Albert Schweitzer

My mother, Levia Pierce, helped others up to the end of her life.  She visited those in jails and helped their families.  She made dolls year around for the Fire Department to give to the poor at Christmas time.  She fed and clothed poor children and took them to Sunday School.  The number of people she allowed to live with our family, some for a year or more, is beyond belief.  A cousin whose mother neglected him, at different times, many men from West Virginia who came to Ohio for work, a young married couple who were losing out in life.  Just examples of Mom's kindness.

THE NICEST FEELING IN THE WORLD IS TO DO A GOOD DEED ANONYMOUSLY AND HAVE SOMEBODY FIND OUT - Oscar Wilde

MARK, KIMBERLY & TODD
Mother's kindness has been passed on.  My son Mark gave up a highly profitable life to become a full time pastor to help others.  My son Todd has actually taken off his coat in the winter time to give to a street person without one, has rented trucks to haul free food and/or clothing he collected to the poor, and my daughter Kimberly donates large amounts to various charities.

IF THE GOOD HEARTS HAD FAT PURSES, HOW MUCH BETTER EVERYTHING WOULD GO

WALT AND MARY KAY
My daughter-in-law, Mary Kay,  gave up a very lucrative position as an RN Supervisor at a state institution to take  a far less paying position as the Director of the National Association of the Mentally Ill.  Her daughter, Jessi, keeps premature children alive.   Grandchildren Riley and Delaney give the value of one of their 3 Christmas presents to charity.

RECYCLE KISSES, HUGS AND SMILES, THEY NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE AND EVERYBODY NEEDS ONE - C. Clymer

Like ripples in a pond, look how far Mother's benevolent life has gone.  How far will Julie's go?  Julie's daughter, Jackie personally raised $10,000 to save a local park for children she doesn't even know and where her children or grandchildren will never play.
